Windows, windows, windows!
In early October, after completing the roof panel repairs on Wye Invader Two, we turned our attention to the inner windows. The 9 inner window frames are constructed of plywood and hardwood, with varnished outer surfaces facing into the cabin. These frames were last inspected in 2019, when they were found to be in good condition, at that time we sanded, revarnished, and reinstalled them. However, 6 years later, upon inspection, we discovered that most of the plywood inner surfaces had de-laminated, while the inward-facing hardwood frames remained intact.
